There are a lot of reasons for having a net with a longer handle besides float tubing. When fishing with 12' and longer rods a longer net handle makes life easier. Also, people with disabilities or those of us showing the effects of aging will find this net a pleasure to use. We have designed it with a slim handle so that the entire net weighs only 10 oz. Mother of pearl measure marks are included and it has our eco-clear net bag.
